CalLists
Privacy Policy
Last updated November 3, 2026
This policy explains how CalLists (“the app”), developed by CalProgs, handles your information. Your privacy matters to us, and the app is designed to keep your data under your control.
Information we collect
CalLists does not collect, store or transmit any personal information to CalProgs or to any third party. We do not require an account, and we have no servers that receive your data.
Data stored on your devices
Information you enter in CalLists is stored locally on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud, the app may sync your data across your devices using your private iCloud account through Apple’s CloudKit service. This data is stored by Apple under your Apple Account, is covered by Apple’s Privacy Policy, and is not accessible to CalProgs.
When you share a list, the people you invite can see and edit it through iCloud. Sharing is handled entirely by Apple; CalProgs has no access to your lists.
If you allow it, CalLists uses your camera or photo library only to attach the photos you choose to list items.
For appointments, CalLists uses Apple Maps to find the places you enter and to estimate the drive time from the home address you set. Those requests are handled by Apple under its privacy policy. Your home address is kept in your iCloud and is never shared with the people you share lists with.
When you add a link to an item, CalLists loads that web page once, from its own site, to fill in the page’s title. Only the address you added is requested, and nothing about you or your lists is sent.
Analytics, advertising and tracking
CalLists contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking code. We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites, and we never sell your information.
Crash reports
If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may provide us with anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. These do not identify you and are used only to improve the app.
Children’s privacy
Because CalLists does not collect personal information, it does not knowingly collect information from children under 13 or any other age.
Deleting your data
You can delete your data at any time by deleting it within the app or removing the app from your device. Synced data can be removed in your device’s iCloud settings under Manage Storage.
This website
This website uses Google Analytics with IP anonymization to understand overall visitor traffic. It does not use this information to identify you, and it is separate from the CalLists app.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the date above.
